Charles Wiley, Jr., 71, passed away February 4, 2025 at his residence.
Born January 6, 1954 in Granite City, he was the son Charles, Sr. and Marilyn (Manwaring) Wiley.
A U.S. Army veteran, he had worked in the brass mill for the Olin Corporation. He had also co-owned "The Cellar Room", "The Attic Tavern", L&C Cab Company, and C&L Contracting with his wife. Charles was a member of the "Bush Pilots MC", Masonic Lodge in Staunton, and Ainad Shrine Temple in East St. Louis.
On September 1, 2006 in Alton, he married Lee Ann Vegher. She survives.
Surviving also are a son, Charles "Chuck" Badgley in Rhode Island; step-son, Brandon Bryant of Alton; step-daughter, Jamie Bryant of Alton; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, John Wiley of Alton; and sister, Vicki Ehlers of Bunker Hill.
Cremation rites were accorded.
A Celebration of Life Memorial visitation will be held from 1-5 pm, Saturday, February 22 at the Alton VFW Post 1308.
Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital for Children or Masonic Lodge in Staunton.
