Charles S. Sauls

Charles Sylvestance Sauls, 83, passed away December 9, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO.

Born October 15, 1942 in Alton, he was the son of Goah Thomas and Addie Mae (Barnes) Sauls.

He had been employed as a laborer for the Olin Corporation and later at Christian Hospital-Northeast.

On December 20, 1963, he married Dorothy Starkey. She survives.

Surviving also are a son, Thomas Sauls of Dittmer, MO; three daughters, Charlene (Darren) Endicott of Medora, Janay McLaughlin of Roxana, Rebekah Sauls of East Alton; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Sauls; and a sister, Gloria Piper.

Cremation rites were accorded.
