Brenda Joyce (Knoblauch) Weiss

Brenda Joyce Weiss, 80, passed away July 4, 2025 with her family by her side at LaBella of Alton.

Born October 1, 1944 in Granite City, she was the daughter of Richard and Mary (Ashford) Knoblauch. 

Brenda is survived by two sons, Richard (Luann) Weiss of Festus, MO, Darren Weiss (companion, Sharon) of Wood River; two daughters, Belinda (Michael) Gunning of Jerseyville, Melinda Oxford (companion, Teresa) of Wood River; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, David Knoblauch of Moro; and sister, Linda Elfgen of Wood River. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Byron, Paul and Richard Knoblauch; and sister, Mary Katherine Manson. 

Visitation will be from 10 am until time time of service at 12 pm, Wednesday, July 9 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Janet Riley will officiate. 

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. 

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
