Brenda Sue (Carroll) Wathern

Brenda Sue Wathern, 77, passed away February 19, 2026 at her home.

Born March 6, 1948 in Princeton, IN, she was the daughter of Harvey and Martha (Bryant) Carroll.

On November 27, 1982 in East Alton, she married William Wathern. He survives.

Surviving also are three sons, Donnie (Bina) Collier in Tennessee, Raymond Davenport of Granite City, William Wathern, III of Creve Coeur, MO; two daughters, Tammy Davis of Granite City, Wanda Collier in Tennessee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Steve Carroll of Chicago; and sister, Chichi Valdez of Godfrey.

Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm, Thursday, February 26 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Brian Archer will officiate.

Interment will be in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
