Beverly "Bev" Ann (Isted) Pile

Beverly "Bev" Ann Pile, 78, ran peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her home in Roxana.

Born April 30, 1946 in Alton, she was the daughter of  Donald and Muriel (Todd) Isted.

Bev had worked as a secretary for the Roxana School District for 27 years before retiring.

She married James Pile on December 29, 1967 in Wood River. He survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Suzanne (Sonny) Hatten of Alton; son, James Pile of Wood River; two sisters, Sue Foster of Quincy, Donna (Robert) Ericson of Eden Prairie, MN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 pm until time of her Celebration of Life Service at 7 pm, Wednesday, June 5 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Dr. L. Joseph Scheets, III will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to Wanda United Methodist Church in Wanda, where she had been a member.
