Barbara Turner Obituary

Barbara Leigh Turner, 83, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born June 5, 1940 in Alton, she was the daughter of Rev. Delbert and Fern (Mason) Wickstrom.

She had been a technician at Alton Memorial Hospital for 14 years and Christian Hospital-Northeast for three years before retiring.

She married Paul Richard Turner on January 31, 1960 in Jeffersonville, IN. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Stephen Turner and Christopher Turner; a daughter, Brenda Patterson; and a brother, Dwayne Wickstrom.

Private service and burial were held in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
