Autumn Nichole Owens

Autumn Nichole Owens, 16, went to Heaven at her home on March 13, 2024.

Autumn was born August 31, 2007 in Alton. She is survived by her beloved father and mother, William and Lindsey Owens; and brothers, Wyatt and Elliott Owens all of Hartford.

She and her brothers were your typical siblings, sometimes it was hard to tell if they liked each other or not, but if anyone said anything negative about her brothers, she would be the first to stand up for them.

Autumn was a junior at East Alton-Wood River Community High School where she had a love for art and making people smile and laugh; and she was a member of the "Oilers" Bowling Team.

She had aspirations of doing art photography, being a barber or flight attendant so she could see the world. She was looking forward to going away to college after she graduated so she could experience college life and the first step of becoming an adult. Autumn's greatest love was hanging out with her friends and being a wild teenager. She loved going to the movies, riding around with friends, listening to music, and playing video games.

When Autumn loved someone, she truly and deeply loved them.

In celebration of Autumn's life, visitation will he held from 4-8 pm, Friday, March 22 at Cornerstone Church, 196 S. Moreland Rd, Bethalto, IL, where funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday. Pastor David Fields will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
