Alice Woolverton Obituary
Alice Joan Woolverton, 90, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born January 13, 1934 in St. Elmo, IL, she was the daughter of Jesse and Josephine ( Wallace) Ledbetter.
On October 6, 1951 in Wood River, she married Robert Myrel Woolverton. He died December 30, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Rick (Reba) Woolverton of Springfield, MO, Lloyd (Diane) Woolverton of Wood River; five grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother; six sisters; and twin grandchildren.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Private interment will be in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
