Alan Slaughter Obituary

Alan Dale Slaughter, 72, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at VA Medical Center at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis.

Born December 21, 1950 in Litchfield, he was the son of John Warren and Grace Ellen (Daugherty) Slaughter.

A U.S. Army veteran, he enjoyed building model airplanes and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by a son, Matthew Slaughter of East Alton; step-son, Randy Pogmore; and two brothers, Daryl (Dee) Slaughter of East Alton, Carl (Margaret) Slaughter of Bethalto.

Cremation rites were accorded and interment will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
